OUR FAVORITE BOATS
With our home port in Fornells we have unspoilt coves less than 15 minutes' sail away. We are fortunate to have a mooring in this fishing village as it is very exclusive and complicated to have a small space where to have a boat. Possibly this exclusivity is due to the great natural setting in which it is located: it is within the marine reserve of the north of Menorca. Sailing eastwards we have Illa d'en Tusqueta, Pudent, Es Macar and dozens of inaccessible corners; to the west we have Cavalleria, the cape, S'Olla, Cala Rotja, Cala Torta, and we reach the famous Pregonda. The advantage of our boat is that it has a shallow draft and is not very long, so that even in August we are able to anchor in such small coves that only the locals know. Most of the coves in the north can only be reached from the sea as there are almost no roads, so make the most of the good sea days without Tramuntana!
The Soberano experience is different from the rest because of the way our staff treats you. Our philosophy is to give you an exclusive and different service. We are not like a taxi driver who takes you from point A to point B. On the contrary. We will give you explanations, we will help you with advice and we will be at your disposal for any need. On board, we have crockery, cutlery and glasses to serve you whatever you decide to bring on board. We will take care of serving your snacks in an attractive way for you to enjoy them. On board we have snorkels, paddle surf boards and floats to make the experience complete. On Soberano we have a large fridge and always quality ice for your drinks. We have complimentary towels if you need them. It's a VIP service because everyone at Soberano should feel special.
Soberano is a llaut, Menorca's original fishing boat. Its design is totally different from the rest and it is unique on the island. In 2018 we did a complete refit leaving her ready to provide services to tourists in a comfortable way. As you can see in the pictures she has a large sundeck that occupies more than 60% of the boat and the rest is a large saloon where 6 people can comfortably sit and eat. It is a boat designed for the Day Boat, to cover the needs of a day tour visiting coves, taking baths and eating and drinking. The boat has a canopy of more than 7 metres ensuring shade at every stop. It has an emergency toilet.
All Soberano experiences include: skipper with 3 languages (native French, English, Spanish), fuel, cooler full of ice with water, beer and pomada (local alcoholic drink composed of gin and lemonade), full insurance, full kitchenware (to serve everything the clients bring), wine glasses, ice bucket, buoyancy aids, snorkel sets (for adult and child), towel service. All extra drinks and food brought by the client are welcome.
